And, with more than 70, that’s right SEVENTY, food vendors attending the festival, we figured it would be best to share them with you – and highlight some of what you’ll be able to expect when you come celebrate with us.
The phrase “something for everyone” gets thrown around a lot in the foodie world, but with this many options you better believe us when we say that’s what you can expect. In fact, there’s probably a fair few “somethings” for everything – even the pickiest amongst you.
There’ll be pasta, burgers, fresh seafood, vegan-options, options that are nothing but meat, sweets, treats, and hard to beats (and that’s without counting the take-home options).
There isn’t time to go through them all, so here’s 7 of our favourites:
Nestled among the many wine stalls in this area of the Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival, Lobster & Co. will be serving up their delicious lobster rolls. Perfect for a light lunch or snack, these lobster brioche rolls pair perfectly with a glass of champagne and their truffle parmesan fries. This year, Lobster & Co. will also be offering Moreton Bay Bugs as part of their menu in celebration of our local delicacy.
The Vood Kitchen is a vegan-only kitchen run passionately by a vegan cook. They pride themselves on using high quality animal free ingredients that provide exceptional flavour combinations in every bite. They'll be offering a range of vegan products at the festival, there will be vegan bao buns, cream mushrooms on a rosti, sweet corn fritters, donut burgers, subs, loaded hotdogs, spring rolls, garlic bread, and more.
Brazzo Boys is a Brazilian BBQ operation led by Chefs Ibanez and Tiago, who have brought two decades of BBQ experience with them on their journey from Brazil here, to Moreton Bay. Brazzo Boys will be bringing HEAPS of delicious options for all our festival goers. They'll have a range of options, including rump steak, chicken, chorizo, and meat lovers plates. There will also be smoked halloumi cheese as well as a bbq platter.
Jessie & The Chef are known for their high-quality, delicious food. You can expect to find them serving up Barramundi & Fries, Fresh Calamari & Fries, Seafood Sensation, Cajun prawn Caesar salad, Cajun Chicken Caesar salad, Jessie burger, Chicken Kartell, Pork & Bacon, Loaded fries cabo and Loaded fries Tijuana. Kids meals and deep fried mars bar also available. El vego loaded fries are a must try for vegetarians.
Flavours of Eataly will parking up at Apex Park for this year’s festivities, and they're bringing all the saucy goodness you know, love, and hold as central to great Italian cooking. Many of their menu items are featuring fresh, high-quality seafood - a testament to some of Moreton Bay's best. These pro-cooks are local too, from just over at Morayfield! They'll be serving up a variety of Italian dishes, including gnocchi, spaghetti with crabs, lasagna, arancini, and more.
That Gelato Co. will be serving up scoops of their delicious gelato and sorbet, which are made fresh daily with traditional artisan techniques. Their gelato is made with Guernsey milk and cream, sourced from a local family farm that produces quality milk in an environmentally sustainable way. You can enjoy a single scoop (cup or cone), a double scoop, or a jumbo scoop.
Pearly Sprinkles are famous for making creative and amazing cakes, cookies, and cupcakes for all occasions. Led from the front by founder Pearly Tasker, who you might recognise from the Netflix reality baking competition Zumbo's Just Desserts! They'll be offering some of their delicious creations for all the sweet tooths who are celebrating the food and drink Moreton Bay has come to be known for.
We can't tell you what'll be on offer yet, as it's very hush-hush, but we just know you'll love it.
So be sure to come with an empty stomach to this year’s Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival. You’ll have so many opportunities to EAT. DRINK. ENJOY. REPEAT. That if you came all three days, there’s no way you could try them all.
You’ll be able to find us at Apex Park, Woody Point all weekend from Friday, August 19th to Sunday, August 21st. Book your tickets now before they sell out:
